AOL Mail provides two step verification services to secure your account, whenever you will login into your AOL mail account it will verify using code which will be sent on your phone. If you wants to activate two step verification you can follow below given steps

1 Go to account security page

To disable your account key you need to go on your AOL account security page

AOL will ask you to sign in be verifying the code that has been sent on you phone, for that you need to click on phone number.

AOL will ask you to enter your phone number on which you would like receive the code.

AOL will send you the code now you need to enter the code in case you have not received the code you can click on resend SMS or you can tap on Call me to receive code on Call.

How to deactivate two step verification

Two step authentications is a security feature that helps you to protect your AOL mail account, you will be asked to confirm your login attempt or to enter a code that has been sent to your mobile. But Sometimes its become very hectic or annoying to enter code every time you login from unknown browser, if you don't have access to your phone you might not be able to login in AOL mail.
