How To Enable Two-Step Verification

Two-step Verification is a security feature that helps you to protect your WhatsApp account.If you have turn on two step authentications you will be asked enter six digit pin that you have created at the time of two-step verification when you will register your phone number again with Whatsapp(like When you change your mobile handset you will be required to register your phone number again with WhatsApp).While activating two-step verification make sure to enter an accessible email which will be required to reset your pin in case you forget your pin. To activate two-step verification you have to follow below given steps:-

1 Open WhatsApp Application

To enable two-step verification, first open your WhatsApp application then click on three dots given on top right corner.whats-app-homepage

2 Tap On Settings

After clicking on three dots you will get some operations to choose you have to click on settings.tap on settings

3 Tap On Account

Now you will be directed on your profile setting page in which you have to tap on "Account" option given on top.tap on account

4 Select Two-Step Verification

Under account option you will find two-step verification option select this option and move forward. tap on two step verification

5 Tap On "Enable"

Tap on "Enable" button given bottom of the screen.

6 Enter Six Digit Pin Code

Now you will be asked to enter a six digit code, create a code that you will not forget, enter the code and click on next.enter your six digit code

7 Confirm Your Pin

Confirm the pin that you have enter and click on next.

8 Enter Your Email

Enter you email which you wants to use to reset pin and click on next.

Enter your email again that you have enter earlier and click on next.
