Paytm is an Indian e-commerce payment system and offers online use-cases like mobile recharges, utility bill payments, travel, movies, and events bookings as well as in-store payments at grocery stores, fruits and vegetable shops, tolls, parking, restaurants, pharmacies and educational institutions with the Paytm QR code.
If you had the Paytm account and you are not able to login into your Paytm account due to forgotten password you can recover it by following below given steps:-
1 Login into your Paytm account.
To recover your Paytm password you need to first login to Paytm account. Download the Paytm app and open it you will be required to enter your mobile number that you have registered at the time of creating Paytm account.
2 Click on forgot password
After entering your contact number and proceeding securely you will be required to enter the password but as you have forgotten your password you need to click on forgot password.
3 Enter your registered mobile number
To reset your forgotten password you need to enter your phone number that is registered with Paytm and then click on proceed securely.
4 Enter OTP
If you have the registered mobile in your phone on which you are trying to reset your password then Paytm will send you the code on your phone and it will automatically submit the OTP once it received, and if it don't fill the OTP by itself then you need to enter the OTP and click on confirm button.
5 Reset your password on call
If you don't have the number on the phone that you are using to reset the Paytm password then you will be required to reset your password on call, when you will enter your registered mobile number and click on proceed securely button you will be required to call on 0120-4888488 by taping on "call 0120-4888488" button.
6 Click on reset password link
After calling on 0120-4888488 you need to follow IVRS option and then you will receive a password reset link on your registered mobile number and your registered email if you have not received the link on your phone check network connection and incoming facility and wait for some time and check your email spam folder after receiving the link you need to click on it as the link remains active for 10 minutes. after clicking on link you will be directed to create new password page where you can change the password.
5 Create new password
After confirming your details then you will be required to create a new password remember to create an password that you can remember for long term and note down the password and keep it in a safe place in case you forgot the password you can get it by there. After creating the password enter it then re-enter it to confirm and then save it.
Here your password has been reset now you can login and start using Paytm service
